During their stay abroad, students participating in the Mevlana Exchange Program continue to receive domestic loans and scholarships, if they receive any. Within the scope of the Mevlana Exchange Program, a scholarship can be paid to Mevlana Exchange Program beneficiary students up to three times the monthly scholarship amount paid to undergraduate students according to the Law No. 5102 on Granting Scholarships and Loans to Higher Education Students, at the rates determined by the Executive Board of YÖK.
Within the scope of the program, academic staff who will be sent abroad may be paid substinence in accordance with the provisions of the Travel Expense Law No.6245, and an additional tuition fee according to the 10th article of the Law No.2547 may be paid to the instructors coming from abroad according to the Law No.6245. The Executive Board of YÖK is authorized to determine the additional course fee considering the countries and titles.
